Nautilus is a gas–grain astrochemical model. It is a three-phase model, which means that in addition to the gas phase, it treats ices as two separate phases: a surface and a bulk. It can be used in a variety of interstellar environments. Associated with Nautilus, the KIDA astrochemical database provides kinetic data for Nautilus based on laboratory and theoretical studies. Both Nautilus and KIDA are open to the public.
Considering the number of new users each year, we propose a two-day training course on these tools.

The program will include one day of lectures presenting the tools, followed by a hands-on session and time to work on users’ specific problems on the second day.
The two-day school will be held in Bordeaux on September 22 and 23, 2026. The number of participants is limited to 20 and registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

You can register through the link below before September 15.
A small amount of money will be available to partially fund the students travel.
